Meet Dr. Tarek Ammar

Dr. Tarek Ammar is an Edmonton native who completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Alberta before moving to San Jose, California, to earn his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Following graduation, he completed his practicum at Bow Valley Chiropractic under the mentorship of Dr. Donald Menzies. His connection to Edmonton and passion for the community brought him back home, where he continues to serve patients and support the local community. Dr. Ammar is an active member of the chiropractic profession and belongs to both the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ammar enjoys spending time with his wife, and their three children. A passionate sports enthusiast, he is a dedicated Oilers and Elks fan and enjoys coaching his sons' hockey teams on weekends. He also takes pride in supporting local businesses and contributing to the community he calls home.
