Acupuncture
Ancient Practice, Modern Care
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body, selected based on the condition being treated. Depending on the approach, points may follow traditional meridian pathways or target neuromuscular trigger points. Needles are typically left in place briefly, sometimes with gentle stimulation, to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and support relaxation. Most people experience little more than mild pressure or tingling during treatment.
Approaches We Offer
Chinese Medicine - a traditional approach rooted in meridian theory, treating the body as an interconnected system
Western Acupuncture - a modern approach applying the technique based on anatomical and neuromuscular principles
Who It's For
Acupuncture may benefit individuals experiencing chronic pain, muscle tension, or those seeking a complementary approach alongside other treatments. Most patients find sessions comfortable and relaxing.
