Meet Thamara Thompson

Thamara Thompson, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Thamara is a Registered Massage Therapist with a diverse professional background in multidisciplinary clinics, high-end spas, and healthcare settings. Prior to her career as an RMT, she worked in a nursing support role with Alberta Health Services and spent several years working in long-term care facilities in British Columbia. She has also completed preceptorships in a children's hospice clinic, a Multiple Sclerosis clinic, and a pre- and postnatal outreach clinic. Her continuing education includes therapeutic exercise for lumbopelvic stabilization, whiplash, cervical disc herniations and related disorders, clinical cupping, and treatment of ligamentous injuries.

Thamara takes a holistic, mind-body approach to massage therapy, addressing injuries and soft tissue impairments while incorporating techniques that promote relaxation, support the body's parasympathetic nervous system, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. She believes that effective treatment goes beyond physical recovery and recognizes the connection between physical health, mental well-being, and relaxation. With a lifelong passion for helping others, Thamara is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys volunteering, running, and spending time with her loved ones.
